"Leadership begins and ends with an identity--whether the identity is good or bad." Lloyd A. Luna, Branded Leadership
Best-selling Filipino author and highly sought-after motivational business speaker LLOYDLUNA did it again. This time, he's taking you to his self-coined "Branded Leadership," a terminology he invented way back in 2001.
What makes Lloyd Luna qualified to talk about leadership?
In the last five years, we have spoken to more than 300 companies, organizations, and events having business executives, managers, supervisors, entrepreneurs, teachers, government officials, and students as audience. They've heard our message and in the process, we've discovered something that is uniquely Filipino.
Problem one. We've paid too much attention to leadership ideas of other people. We've not discovered that we have our own leadership wisdom.
Problem two. Because of too much knowledge, we've failed to hang on to the one thing we need to lead: the brand.
Let me put this in perspective. We'd like to contribute our discovery and we'd like to help you rediscover that core identity that you have that makes a long-lasting leadership.
Let's get started.
Ever heard of Branded Leadership? I definitely don't think so. And I'm sure about this. Branded Leadership is a Filipino invention, a self-coined terminology, which I invented because I believe in the "leadership genius of the Filipinos." I bet you've heard of other leadership gurus and believe they have pretty good stuff to share.
But this time, I'd like to introduce to you a liberating kind of leadership, one that is different from "serving," "servant," "transformational," "transforming," etc.
This time, I'd like you to meet someone who can give you a clear definition of a life being led to a brand new territory. Sounds great and interesting? It is.
All brands move you towards an experience. Whether such experience is good or bad, people exeperience the brand.
A branded leader is careful on the kind of experience that he lets people to experience.
All brands move you towards an action or decision. Whether the action is to patronize you or shy away from you, it doesn't matter.
A branded leader is keen as to whatever action arises from his leadership.
All brands move people to a paradigm shift. While not too many people like it, it's inevitable.
A branded leader is courageous enough to take that risk and choose to go to uncharted territory. He is brave and wise enough to challenge assumptions.
